Grand Opening and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Held for Agile Cold Storage
State-of-the-Art Facility in Pearl River Reflects Impressive Investment in St. Tammany’s Supply Chain and Logistics Sector

PEARL RIVER, LA – This morning, executive representatives as well as state and local officials gathered for a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on the newest state-of-the-art facility acquired by the cold storage company Agile Cold Storage. Welcoming remarks were given by Ti Cold Account Manager Logan Stuller and CEO and President Sam Tippman. Chris Masingill, CEO of St. Tammany Economic Development Corporation (St. Tammany EDC) provided introductions for Louisiana Economic Development Chief Engagement Officer, Rachel Shields, St. Tammany Parish President Mike Cooper, Pearl River Mayor Pro Tempore Tim Moray, and Chief Business Development Officer of GNO Inc., Grady Fitzpatrick. Agile’s Chief Development Officer John Ripple and the organizations President and CEO Don Schoenl provided closing remarks before the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony took place.

A diversified storage and logistics solutions company serving North American food manufacturers, processors and growers, Agile Cold Storage has invested $45.9 million to construct its new 121,600 square-foot cold storage facility in St. Tammany Parish. Design and construction of this project was overseen by the engineering firm Ti Cold. Agile is currently developing their workforce at this facility with the expectation and capacity to reach up to 100 direct new jobs.

Founded in 2020 and based in Gainesville, Georgia, Agile Cold Storage helps food producers prepare fresh food for transport by blast-freezing and packing it for shipment to its ultimate destination. Through automated, multi-temperature, and conventional warehousing and logistics support, Agile offers customized cold storage solutions for a variety of clients across the country. The company expects to transport approximately 100 containers of food shipments from its new Pearl River facility to the Port of New Orleans for export every week.
